O-week Party: Disorientation Disorientation kick started the '09 academic year, and the first annual Aa event, with a bang! Attendees dressed up in school uniform and each member scored one free drink card using Aa's guestlist. Newcomers to Aa certainly received a good impression of the Aa events that are to come.

First Semester Free BBQ The first BBQ of the year extended a fuzzy welcome to its new members, and welcomed back the old members. Aa BBQ provided free food and drinks for all members, as well as a chance to win great prizes, sign up for camp, participate in a hilarious watermelon eating competition and see president Eddy Liu in a pink apron. |

Semester 1 End of Exams Party Aa EOX signalled the beginning of freedom from the dread midyear exams. Aa pulled out out all the stops to bring you the premier clubbing experience. EOX patrons were able to enjoy the atmosphere of an intimate party in our private upstairs function room. And as a toast to your hard work, the bar served discounted drinks exclusively to Aa members with $4 basic spirits from 10 pm to 1 am. The vast number of attendees made this night a great success, and we're sure for many, it was a night they didn't want to end. |

Semester 2 Free BBQ Aa Semester 2 BBQ was the answer to the GFC. Once again, Aa pulled out all the free food and drinks purely to benefit members. Complete with a noodle eating competition, donut eating competition and this time, being able to witness Colin in a pink apron, Aa Semester 2 BBQ was the perfect opprtunity to catch up on gossip lost throughout the midyear Break. |

Aa Cocktail Night Date: Thursday 27th August Held in one of the most stylish bars in Melbourne, Aa Cocktail Night allowed our exquisite guests to mingle in the lush interior of The Apartment while soothing Jazz music accompanied the 1920s atmosphere, recreating The Era of Decadence. Guests receieved two free drink cards and $10 cocktails all night, as well as went in the running to receive awesome prizes courtesy of Aa's esteemed sponsors. Aa Cocktail Night also marked the beginning of the Annual Ball campaign, revealing to Cocktail Night patrons the ball theme and venue. It was certainly magical as the committee, dressed up in flapper dresses, feathers and red ties, iconic of the 1920s. |

Aa Annual Ball Theme: The Era of Decadence, 1920s Aa was proud to host the biggest event on our club calendar - the 2009 Annual Ball. This year, like no exception, Aa created a magical and glamourous night, allowing guests to relive the luxuriousness and decadence of the 1920s, topped with never before seen special effects that really highlight Aa Ball as one of its kind. Guests received daiquiris for predrinks in the foyer to kick start the night, followed by unlimited beer, wine and champagne to keep the night going. And the night just didn't end there! The party continued onto Fusion Night Club and flowed over to Odeon Night Club, only an indication of how big the night was. The Era of Decadence - the ball that had it all! |
