Affiliations

The Australasian Association was first set up thirteen years ago.  Throughout its development in becoming a leading social club, it has formed and maintained close ties with various organizations.  It is from their support Aa exists as it is today, and continues to emit a strong sense of presence, on and off campus.  Currently, we remain are proudly affiliated with the following groups and institutes.

 

University Of Mebourne

 

The University of Melbourne is a dynamic research-driven community which offers a wealth of cultural, institutional and recreational opportunities for social interaction, leadership and personal development.

It is an environment in which students will be challenged and supported to extend themselves intellectually and creatively, so that graduates are at home anywhere in the world.

 

MU Student Union

The Student Union is a diverse and exciting place supporting all students from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. It does this through cultural events, activism and direct support through services. Get more out of your time at Uni.

Each week On Aair, Aa's official radio show, discusses the shenanigans and events that the Australasian Association have planned as well as having hilariously heated discussions about anything and everything, and of course, we'll play the beats that you love!

Tada Radio


The young-fun-hip-multilingual podcast station comes into town!
Tada Radio is a 2009 newborn baby of Chinese Music Group. Oh no, it’s not all about Chinese culture or playing Oriental music.
It is a full-fledged-to-be radio station with various programmes such as music, travel, lifestyle, current issues and more.

We aim to function as the voice of and for the students. We promote multiculturalism so you might hear or read Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Malay etc. in our podcast and website. But don’t worry, we also support internationalism hence English will be everywhere.

 

Asean

Asean has been a long-standing club across Monash University campuses. In 2000, Asean was setup at Clayton campus as a means to unite university students in social events, new friends and a whole lot of fun.

Eight years on, Asean retains the same values as the originating group. However with traditions kept intact, Asean has been able to reshape, innovate and revolutionise the club over 3 campuses, Clayton, Caulfield & Parkville.
